I’ve had this heart leaf philodendron for a few years now, she’s been growing, new leaves etc. I’m thinking of propagating her but I can’t see any nodes, also most photos show this type to be trailing mine just keeps going up. Is it really a philo? I’ve been using the app to identify it and each time it comes up as a monstera deliciosa. But the new leaves don’t look like monstera leaves!?! Was this a case of a mislabeled plant? thank you 🙏

Yes, it is a monstera deliciosa. That is what the juvenile leaves look like. As it matures it will develop the fenestrations in the leaves. Try giving it more light maybe?

it is a mystery lol i guess the only way is to wait and see … most everyone says it might be a deliciosa but i’ve had her for at least 2 years and still looks like a juvenile 🌱 so 🤷🏻‍♀️

Mine took 4 years to put out fenestrated leaves. Be patient :) I don’t have the perfect light situation in my home so it took a little longer to mature.

Heartleaf philos are relatively smaller and viney like a pothos, and dont stick straight up like ur monstera does, also, is this a node?

Great seeing this because, I have had mine for almost 1 years and it looks very similar to yours. I guess just patience to see how the leaves grow over time.
