I also believe it’s been underwatered, the roots are quite thin and brown, should I repot/propagate?

No smelly roots so definitely not rot

Humidity is important and a plastic pot might be better terracotta pulls moisture and you’ll need to water more often. WHEN you repot it.

Okay lovely! I’m thinking I’ll just put it back in the pot it’s already in, it’s plastic, but remove any dry roots if that’s even necessary? I’m pretty new to this whole sick plant thing!

And how long ago was recently? It could be stressed from changing environments.

To be fair I only got it about a week ago! It was already in relatively bad shape when I got it but it was only £15 so I couldn’t say no! Hahaha

Don’t remove roots unless they’re slimy or smell bad

Have you fertilized it? Sometimes a little fertilizer helps if they’re stressed

These are what I do with sick plants. Just be patient and observe. Best of luck to you!

Thank you!! I was mostly concerned about the brown new growth but hopefully snipping it will encourage it to push out some more!:)

This happens to me sometimes when a new plant it settling in. I would just cut it off and it will put out a new growth point
