My Philodendron silver swords leaves are turning yellow and dying off and I don’t know why. It is still growing nice big new leaves at a regular pace and only the older leaves are dying but more and more keep dropping and I don’t know why. It is under a grow light for 12 hours a day because it is in a shelf with minimal natural light. It’s in a clear pot and its roots look healthy. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong please help!
I assume the pot has drainage holes and that you aren’t leaving it sitting in water?
0 J'aime Yes it’s in a nursery pot which is sitting in a cover pot. I take it out of the cover pot and fully let the water dry before putting it back into the cover pot. I also make sure every week no water is left in the cover pot just encase.

0 J'aime I haven’t used a light meter but I’ve tried plantas and it isn’t very great but the light is maybe 6 to eight inches above the plant
