Hi guys! Any tips for Philo Brasil’s? I rescued a couple from the clearance section and would love to keep them going and get them thriving! (I tried to give her a little moss pole to grow up not sure how much that helps!) any tips are greatly appreciated 😊

Pretty! They like lots of indirect light and high humidity. The moss pole is probably giving the plant a humidity boost so that’s great!

Okay, that’s helpful, I wasn’t sure if it was actually helping! I live in a pretty dry state so humidity I need to give my plants! Does spritzing them with water help with humidity? I’ve heard yes & no!

No problem! :) Spritzing with water doesn’t make a huge difference to humidity and can cause fungal issues unfortunately (unless you have a fan blowing on the plant) Just keep the moss pole slightly moist and that’ll increase the humidity around the plant :)

This is a highly rewarding plant to care for. I let the top of 2-3 inches to dry out before watering. It is hanging by my SE facing window with the sun rays dappled by partially closed blinds (brighter location = more variegation). If you go the moss pole route, you’ll get bigger leaves. They are fast growers so Im sure you’ll have fun with her! Good luck!

I’m excited, it’s beautiful! The leaves just seem like they are sad sometimes so I’ll take all this into consideration! Thank you so much!

They look great!😍 I like mine a bit more wide/bushy so I trim its long branches once every couple of months to encourage fuller growth - they are also super easy to propagate in water so you can make new plants. But that’s just an idea!
