Should I cut this bloom off of my Ring of fire?

    No, the flowers don’t kill philodendrons, so you should keep it, your ring of fire will resume growth after it has bloomed.

      How long does it take to bloom? I’ve heard that they prevent new leaves from coming

      Growth stops while blooming it will resume after the flower is spent and you can deadhead it then. It takes a month or two to open and the bloom lasts 1-2 days. Also flowers indicate it has reached sexual maturity.

    I would definitely not cut this off! It’s a gift and it will be exciting to see it bloom. Leaf growth will resume when the flower is spent

      I’ve read that flowers won’t bloom while indoors, it’s been there for 2.5 months and hasn’t bloomed yet!
