Hi guys. These are a few leaves I pulled off from my ZZ plant. Do you guys know why they are like this? They feel very squishy and juicy.

      Zz is native to extremely arid conditions — dry air, dry soil. They want to be neglected to rely on the rhizomes where they store water and nutrients. I only water my Zz once a month in the summer, and it sits in a giant west-facing window and gets some southern light there too. In the winter I water even less
