Does anyone know why my philodendron is turning this pinkish color? Google is telling me it could be a stress response and is anthocyanin but I don’t know what to change 🙃

It can be typical for new growth depending on what kind of philodendron. Especially if it’s in direct light
3 J'aimeMy philodendron has this kind of pinkish growth at the ends of the vines where new leaves grow but they eventually turn green like the rest, I think it’s normal 🤷♀️
2 J'aimeIt is only in new growth places! I have some babies propagating from her and they haven’t turned much pink at all so I wasn’t sure if it was normal. Thank you!
0 J'aimeIt’s normal, especially if it gets bright light or direct light.
2 J'aimeI honestly don’t think it gets much direct light at all, she lives in a plant hanger by my living room window but the window has these giant awning over the windows so it’s pretty much only indirect light. Was wondering if maybe she needed direct light. Thank you!
0 J'aimeDirect light is too much. I can testify. Trust me on this. 😬😂
1 j'aimeThanks for asking!!! I noticed this about mine as well; and thanks everyone for the answers 🥰
2 J'aimeIt’s pretty normal , mine does that too and it’s not a problem , typically just depends on the type of philodendron
