Hi this is my white princess, i’ve had it for maybe 5 months, I cut three big leaves because they were dying and now it’s starting putting out new leaves but they’re all really small compared to the old ones. anyone know why?

in just about all cases, small leaves = not enough light

Lack of light will produce small leaves and lanky stems.

If the big leaves were from the original plant it was a cutting from, it’s because the age resets after you take a cutting so newer leaves are usually smaller. I would check on light/humidity/fertilizer to make sure it’s getting enough of those. It could also be a result of cutting the dying leaves off, typically it’s recommended to leave them until they fall off (unless they are the all white leaves) bc they still provide nutrients to the overall plant. I’ve got a couple sad AF leaves hanging on by a thread I have to remind myself to leave alone all the time.

The age resetting thing is more complicated than that, I realize that, before anyone comes for me
