Need help, Guys I follow some of the tips and today I noticed my finger leaf is having another yellow leaf.. i change the pot size. Any inputs??? “Planta” Dr. gave some tips, apparently I accidentally overwatered it. Took the plant out of the previous soil check for roots that were either rotten or starting to rot. I cut some of them clean the plant and I re-potted it with new soil on a pod that has great drainage and she is lightly wet not a lot. I didn’t let her soak in water , but still 1 yellow leave that you will see in the picture it’s dead I think so I need some tips of what should I do now that I repot the plant and 1 leave is pretty much done???

The pot may be too big with too much soil holding water on the roots too long. The roots can’t use up all the moisture in the soil. So, they rot. The leaves die off once the roots die. The new pot diameter should be no more than 2 inches wider than the previous pot. You may have to downsize. 🍀🪴

i have recently unlocked the secret with my plants- they LOVE to be claustrophobic! someone told me that and i asked them “how would i know if it’s time to repot??” they said i would know very easily. i did! my plant thrived until one day the leaves started turning yellow and feeling dry- switched the pot that night (to one maybe 3-4” bigger) and she exploded with new leaves within the week!! i actually just repotted her last night and the roots were intense!
