Hi guys!!! I've had this heart leaf philodendron for maybe a year, & I recently gave her new soil. But I've been noticing these odd discolorations when light shines through the leaves? It's not on every single leaf, mostly on the bottom leaves of some of her vines... is this something to be worried about? The affected leaves look a little funky when looking directly at them, but they seem to be pretty happy overall. What's up with her?? Thank you!!!
if its not pests it might be edema- has to do w overwatering, lack of drainage, not enough circulation etc. mine had some too when i got it, but if its on the bottom its probably from before u had it as edema sticks around on the affected leaf!

I agree with the previous comment. If you're entering winter, she will need watered less often. Make sure it is drying out 25-50% before watering with a thorough soak. That said, I had a silver stripe/cream splash that kept losing leaves that appeared "stippled." I think it was likely spider mites. I would double, triple, quadruple check for pests. And maybe do a rinse in the shower then spray with Paige's sexy plant juice.
