My Jose Buono has just one leaf that seems to be having an issue. I know it will not get better, but should I leave it or chop it? It’s not a lower leaf or wouldn’t even be asking. I would have just chopped it. If I do chop it off, will a new leaf grow in its place?

Personally I’d leave it. Green leaves have mobile nitrogen that the plant can use elsewhere for growth. A new leaf won’t grow in its place but new leaves will continue to grow from the top. If you haven’t over/underwatered and you don’t see any pests I’d wait to see if that is an isolated incident on one leaf. If it spreads or the plant starts to decline in other ways I’d check the roots and maybe do a neem oil spray down.
