I’m a fairly new plant parent, I’ve had my PPP for about a year. Went from a very slow growth in a one window room with grow lights, to a much brighter indirect sun window in my new house. She’s growing a lot now. I’m wondering if anyone has tips for how to get her to grow bigger leaves? Should she be staked on a moss pole at this point? Thanks for any help!

Yes a moss pole or stake to help her climb will help produce big leaves

I agree put her on a moss pole, I used some chopsticks in mine to train my leaves in the direction I wanted them to grow until they got stronger. I also use a grow light and humidifier on mine. I noticed a big change also once I put Prissy in a self watering pot and STOPPED using tap water. Hope this helps good luck. Fingers crossed for us both 🙂🙂

Yolanda do you ever top water for your PPP? Or just keep bottom watering part of pot full? How do you fertilizer her? I just bought my first one last week. Thank you

I keep Prissy in her self watering pot. I only fill the tray when it is empty.. I check it everyday 😂🤦🏽‍♀️however I only squirt a couple shots of the liquid miracle gro in it once a month. The key to getting more and keeping the pink variegation is the humidifier., the bigger leaves is mostly from the bright indirect light during the day and I use my grow light at night. I was also told if you prune more green leaves at the base it promotes more variegation in leaves

Don’t allow your plant to sit in the water from bottom watering it will affect the roots
