Hi guys! My mum bought this for my graduation gift. It was super long (and sort of straggly) and had two sets of roots growing out of different parts. I separated the plant into two by separating the root system. Ever since, she has been sad looking. I did this about a week or two ago. Since then I’ve fed her houseplant growth and watered her enough to not over do it (she is currently in a pot with no drainage, but I have not been overdoing it on the water i don’t think). She’s still green and is currently producing a new leaf, however I feel like her leaves feel sort of leathery and lethargic. They just look limp. Any feedback would be amazing. I love this plant!

Maybe do a chop and prop to develop new roots and re plant them after that...

All the leaves may fall off but they will grow back. I had this same thing happen to me

Definitely put it in a pot with drainage. It is limp because it needs water. It is very difficult to precisely control the amount of water a plant needs and not let any sit on the roots. It’s better to completely flush through water that saturates all of the soil while allowing the excess water to to drain out.
