Hey, yall. I found a PPP last night that wasn’t in the greatest condition but also not the worst by far. There are quite a few healthy nodes but it came with some stuck leaves that I’ve helped unstick but they’re coming out brown and kind of dead. The plant itself doesn’t look “great” and I can’t help but fight the feeling of cutting it down and letting it completely regrow under healthier conditions. (Yes I am aware there are two in the pot) What do you all think?

I’ve been wondering the same thing I always have to coax the leaves out and each one is smaller than the last even though they get lots of light. Thinking about chopping mine and seeing how it goes I had 3 in one pot that I separated might as well use one for an experiment.

Yeah, this one just doesn’t look the best and did have some newer brown leaves that I had to remove upon purchasing. Of course I’d attempt to propagate what I cut I’m just nervous I’ll kill it and not be able to find another. 😂

Keep one as is and chop the other one! lol when I separated mine they did really well no drooping and kept growing but I definitely know it’s anxiety inducing to chop up a plant that’s why I haven’t done it yet 😅

Thank you! And best of luck if you do end up chopping!

I chopped mine earlier this year and water propagated the cutting and it’s doing even better than the mother plant!!
