Help! I got this philodendron back in march and it’s been doing fine up until now. Its two leaves are droopy and lifeless even though I watered it not too long ago. I just now reported it cause roots were starting to grow out from the bottom but I really don’t wanna lose those two leaves. It just popped out a giant leaf not too long ago too so I don’t think it’s too unhappy. If you have any advice on how I can save those leaves/ the plant lmk!! thank you!!

Honestly I would lose that giant rock you have in there. They like an acidic chunky well draining potting mix. Those two leaves are unfortunately goners as once they are yellow there is no going back. Maybe there is a chance you overwatered when repotting or she got over fertilized from the new soil.

Thank you! I haven’t repotted it since I bought it. I usually put most of my plants in a homemade chunky mix so i’ll see what I can do with that tomorrow. Rip my trinket rock I’ll have to rehome it haha. thanks again!

the soil looks pretty dry have you stuck a finger in to feel if the top inch or so is dry? if so you can give it a water are you fertilizing regularly? does it have plenty of light? sometimes repotting a plant can send it into shock and it may lose a few leaves. unfortunately they will never be fully green again and i generally cut them off once they’re 50% or more damaged ps none of these are super strava rules you have to follow they’re just some things i’ve found make a difference :)

It’s under some grow lights at the moment as my room gets little to no light whatsoever haha. I think I fertilized it a week or so ago and watered it too around that time. I JUST repotted it after I posted this post because I was panicking 😔. I’ll check the soil tomorrow and see how the plant does for the next couple of days. Thanks for the help!
