Hi plant people! I got this white princess philodendron about a week ago and I’m not sure if there’s multiple plants and if I should separate them to increase growth. It seems very crowded with the growing leaves. Any comments help!

    Holy moly that’s growing densely! Looks gorgeous 😍 Mine is a very dense grower too. Multiple in the pot when I got it and it branches off new growth heads wayyyyy more often than my other philodendrons. There must be something about the white princess that makes it so bushy. Maybe the tissue culture process I just split mine today, and I’ve been cutting offshoots off it regularly since I got it last summer. It hasn’t seemed to be bothered either by crowding or propagating But since yours is so new, I would let it settle in for a few months before you do anything. It can be hard to untangle the roots when they’re crowded, but I literally just did it today lol. So I think it’s worth the hassle later on to let your plant acclimate now

      Thank you! It is a beauty. I will definitely keep that in mind though when the time comes to prop.
