      They are very thin

      As long as there is no rot, don’t give up. If it were my plant, and I’m not an expert, but have done this successfully before, I would chop it and prop the roots in perlite to see if it’d grow back.

      I also say prop in perlite! Its become my fav plant rehab strategy

    Definitely, check the roots. Viable roots can produce more leaves.

    Take it out of the pot rinse the roots pull all the mushy roots off and if there’s any hard part left of the roots, spritz it with hydrogen peroxide, let it dry and then put it in some moist moss and let it grow new roots
