I want to propagate my philo, as she’s quite tall but not busy, but idk how to do it best. Also, will she vine as much as a pothos might? May need to get her a wall climb.

    She should propogate fairly easy. Cut 1/4 below the node and bury directly into the dirt covering the node. I would get as many clippings as I could into the dirt. This would make her more full.

    I think it would be best😞. She needs a second chance right now at a fuller life. This one was broken off, I was sad, but I know it'll come back into a full "brand new philo". I would amend that soil too. Mix a about a cup of succulent mix or perlite in there. You'll thank me later!☺️.

      I do have a soil mix with a good amt of perlite. Will do! Thank you :)

    I rescued this one from Lowe’s clearance (root rot and only 3 leaves remaining), and now she is growing wild without regard to her neighbors’ personal space. 🤣After reading this post and comments, I am gonna prop mine to make it look more full. Probably gonna give her a trellis also.

      Yes! She was originally two plants, I gifted one to my friend but now she’s just long 😂 I’ve got her propped rn but no root growth yet!

    Im sure the growth will come. philodendrons prop easily, from what I hear. Wishing amd praying for your success!!
