How bad of an idea is it to plant a few different philos or a maranta in the same planter? I just got a long horizontal one and am trying to think of how to best utilize the space. I suppose the maranta would fill out!

    I have a few combo planters! I think friends make the pot more interesting. Just make sure it’s the same light requirements.

    Oh I loveeee that! I had a syngonium, scandopsis and some others rooting together and they were stunning idk why I am afraid of adding a medium lol

      I have that one planted in literal rocks! So it’s pretty much still rooting in “water” 😉 I do plan on feeding the water later with a water soluble.

    Compare the care requirements for the plants to be sure there are no big differences in lighting, watering, fertilizer, etc., that could negatively affect the plants. 🪴🍀

    Combo away! If the care requirements are similar, shouldn't be an issue.
