Just completed another chop and prop of P. splendid. First pic is June 2024 when it arrived, second is the bottom leaf pre-chop next to the newest leaf, which measures 17”. Honestly doesn’t even slow down in winter; easily my favorite philo. Biggest con is that it has long internodal spacing so it needs chop and extends every 3-4 months, but I’d way rather that than a super slow grower any day.
LOVE philodendrons! I just repotted my burle Marx last week and I went to check on it today— one of its roots has already found the bottom of the pot and is sticking out! They really don’t slow down once they’re happy ☺️☺️
