Do you all think a heart leaf philodendron would do well in a low light bathroom that has a shower (meaning it would get a lot of humidity nightly from being in there)? The bathroom has a dehumidifier in it out of necessity so the Phil wouldn’t be in constant high humidity. I have props from my two Phils that I’m wanting to put in a different room besides where the others are.
It should do well if the light is sufficient. Put it near a window.
3개 좋아요 It would get low light reflecting off the window. The only window is a picture window on the wall above the shower so it casts a little light on the wall I’d put it on.

This is giving me an idea…I have a bathroom in my suite with a large frosted window that gives bright indirect light. I want to give a bushy spa feel to my bathroom, and was thinking of putting a pothos or philodendron in there. A grow lamp might help to give additional light for a longer daytime period. 🤔 I have a new manjula that needs a home…or perhaps I can propagate my heart lead and eventually put in there…
2개 좋아요 Hang your Baltic Blue pothos near the window. It will do well in the bright humid environment. Also, try syngoniums like in my photo. They grow well in high humidity. My pot contains several plants in their original 4” nursery pots sitting in a wide hanging basket with no drainage holes. It’s easy to change out individual plants. I add about 1 inch of water and diluted fertilizer to bottom water. They are at the center of my northern covered patio. They get bright indirect sunlight morning and evening. It’s essentially bright shade. 🪴🍀
It will do fine, they have similar traits as a pothos

It would probably be ok just may not grow as much and as quickly. Mine was in low light for a while and as soon as I moved her to an east facing window she started to grow like crazy.
