Ok, time for advise/a vote! I have this magnificent Florida Ghost and I am wondering what to do with it!?! I want it on a moss pole, but wondering… is it a plant that went 2 directions and I should put it on 1 pole or do we think it’s 2 plants and I could do 2 poles?! Or would it be ok if 1 and I cut it into 2?! I’ve never had one before and am not sure what would be best! Thanks!

    The important thing isn’t whether they’re linked so much as whether each stem has enough roots to sustain it. I would say regardless of connection you have two plants there. How long/how many nodes are the stems? If they’re on the longer side then you might benefit more from propagating some cuttings and putting them on the pole so you have more room to size up the leaves before it outgrows its support.

      As far as using 1 vs 2 stems, it’s really a personal choice. 2 will generally give a bushier look and if one stem doesn’t want to take then you haven’t lost your time and effort. On the other hand, you’ll generally need a bigger pole for two and one usually becomes more dominant on the pole over time anyway. Tl;dr: you only need one and it avoids putting all your eggs in one basket, but two has a lot of pros

      Thank you! I am unsure how long any roots or stems are under soil, I haven’t had it long and haven’t gotten into it yet. I was going to ing it some time to dust to my house before messing around lol thanks for the help, I will consider all of it when I get in there!!!
