Hi! It’s my first post here. The leaves on my billitiae looked a littler bit scorched and dry, so I moved it to a little bit less sunny space. Unfortunately I think it got even more sun in its new spot, and these spots developed on two of the leaves. Every other leaf is fine though, so I’m wondering: Is it a light issue? My planta dr suggests either light or a watering issue, but wouldn’t more leaves be affected if it was a watering issue? Thanks! Gabriel
It could be both a water issue and some scorching. The younger tender leaves are more susceptible. The edges and tips looks like a watering issue. I have a Billietiae philodendron that gets direct morning east light and bright shade the rest of her day. The light should be filtered in a west or south facing window. Filter with a sheer curtain or window film. Let the soil dry out before watering. Don’t let it dry out too long to avoid the crispy edges and tips. 🪴🍀
