My white knight grew well, but is there any way to keep him from growing so spaced out?

internodal spacing is determined by the amount of light a plant is getting. more light = smaller spacing!

Well, I guess this is the tightest it’s going to get it’s always in the light

Unfortunately it seems to be the way of things with the philodendron “royals.” They look so nice when they’re babies lol. I have pink princess, white knight, and white princess. I tried to grow the pink princess on a pole. It kind of helps because all the leaves end up facing relatively forward, but I don’t love it. I think I’m just going to give in and chop them. I’ll keep small versions and sell/give away the cuttings every time it gets too tall
