She’s so dramatic! Regina is pushing out a bunch of new leaves (yay!) but she looks depressed asF. I trimmed a lot of dead/mushy/crowded leaves last week last Monday before watering, and she’s been looking like this since Tuesday morning. Maybe she didn’t like the trim? I bottom water once a week because it’s hot aF where we are and she doesn’t get too dry in between. Also she was only in direct light for these pics but she lives in a northern-facing window box that’s under a roof overhang so while she gets plenty of bright light, it’s rarely direct. Sometimes I let her sit on the patio in the shade to feel the wind

Mushy leaves tend to mean rot. That soil looks too dense and water retaining for philodendrons, and once a week is too often to be watered. Most philodendrons prefer to be fully dry before watering. It most likely has root rot that needs to be treated.
