This honey was in Lowe's clearance & came home with me for $7.99. She my first Philodendron! I thought with the whole "ring of fire" philly thing, Melissa Schemmenti is the perfect name. I love new plants & Abbott Elementary. Any tips?

Take her out of coco peat and into something chunkier/better drainage. She’ll love you for it

0 likes The ones Planta recommends are actually pretty good. Any potting soil/perlite/orchid bark should be fine. Of often when I don’t want to spend a fortune I’ll combine potting soil with leca to chunk it up
