Well, after advice on my last post I skipped watering Regina George last Monday, so today was two weeks since her last drink. She still looks rather droopy and pathetic from the sides, but she’s pushing out several new pink leaves including this big one. No root rot that I’ve noticed - maybe she needs more light? *pic outdoors only because it’s watering day and I do that on the porch in the evenings*

Also, I checked her for root rot just to be sure and didn’t find any.

to me it just looks like underwatering - the leaves are thin and you can see the veins/texture on them, and i dont see any yellowing leaves. i could be wrong but thats my take on it. could the soil be hydrophbic?

The soil is holds moisture pretty decently. I was watering once a week and then on my last post someone suggested that might be too frequent so I gave her an extra week in between to see if that helped but there hasn’t been much change. She sits in a north facing window box so maybe she isn’t getting enough bright light?

I would definitely try to find a brighter area. I just got one of these plants too, only it's the white princess I think it's called and it says the more light the more variegation you'll see too. I had another philodendron birkin in a north facing window and it just never grew...now I have by my front door that's south facing and it's doing so much better.
