Hello everyone! I have a pink princess I need some help with. I got her back in November from Lowe’s and after it got acclimated to my apartment I put her on a moss pole and she was THRIVING and giving me pretty big leaves. Over the last week she was trying to push out a new leave and it looked rotted. Over night it started unfurling and it is so tiny compared to the recent ones and the end of the leaf is super crispy. I have it next to a humidifier and it probably gets around 6-7 hours of light from my growth light. Any suggestions? The 1st picture is from two weeks ago, the second picture is the newest leaf.

    Well my first thought was humidity, but it sounds like you’ve got that covered. Have you had any oopses with watering lately? Forgetting or overwatering? If you can, I would try to gently tip it out of the pot and see how the roots are looking without disturbing it too much. See if there’s any sign of black, mushy, or shriveled up roots

    I water it every Sunday and mist the moss pole every other day! I checked the bottom roots and they look healthier than when I got it and there isn’t a horrible smell. Should I water with hydrogen peroxide just to be sure for the base? I think I fertilized about 3 weeks ago too.

      Sounds like you’re doing well! That’s awesome that it’s doing a lot better than when you got it. Maybe it’s just winter blues from your plant. I never get my best leaves in the winter. You could try bumping up the number of hours that your grow light is on for, if you want

    I’ve seen other people say their pink Princess can be a bit dramatic and I know mine pushes out weird leaves sometimes. Hopefully it’s just a fluke. Especially since it’s an all pink leaf that seems like it could be the case.
