Anyone have an idea on what happened/ is happening to this leaf?

    Uhm it could be a fungal infection in the roots but I have no idea because I can’t clearly see the other leaves so idk another possibility which is highly unlikely is that the humidity is to low so it can’t unfurl its leaves properly so it gets damaged but usually when that happens it rips not browns

    Is the concern with the black edges or the wonky looking leaf in general? If it’s been that way since it unfurled it’s likely due to an issue that was happening as it was developing, maybe with the roots (too much/little water, infection, etc) or humidity/light related. My PPP put out a few similar looking leaves when I repot, soil was staying too wet/dry, humidity changes, not enough light, etc. The good news is it looks like it’s working on a new leaf that appears healthy so far, so that’s a positive sign.

    this has happened to me - pretty sure its a humidity issue. these guys are also notorious for getting their new leaves stuck in the sheaths which can be an indicator for too little humididy :)
