Help me take care of her!!!
Ooooo good find!! Philos have quickly become one of my favorites because they’re pretty forgiving! I have two in soil that are doing well, they just really like the soil to dry out between waterings. Bright light but not direct sun! I have a Florida bronze in water that’s been beyond thriving. I just fertilize twice a month in the growing season. I don’t mist my philos unless it looks like they’re struggling to unfurl a leaf.
0 likesI have the un-verigated version of this and it literally grows like a weed. I got it while it was blooming, it later dropped those and put out 5-6 new leaves at the same time. I havent repotted it, but it seems to be thriving in a coir-perlite-soil mix. I feed it fish water every now and then I’ve seen people stake or pole theirs, as a philo it grows lots of aerial roots. (Mine is growing… wide?? It’s escaping out the pot but it’s decided to turn back into the pot so I’m not that worried)
