What started as a propagation when I had to take drastic action on my PPP has turned into a fun “let’s see what happens”/experiment… safe to say I didn’t expect a new leaf nor a new leaf growing from that new leaf before it’s even unfurled! Has anyone else done this before?

My OG PPP just did had the same thing happen. Leaves weren’t damaged and seems peachy! About to make a major chop to prop.

she looks soooo happy in hydro!!! I recently chopped my PPP because she was very very tall. I have some babies propagating right now and my PPP mama is getting acclimated to new hydro with Leca and more sun to stimulate her beautiful colors. not sure if you’re interested in keeping your prop baby in hydro but i would consider it if mine seemed as happy as yours 😍beautiful PPP prop baby!

I was planning on potting her back up but I’m really curious as to how much she’ll grow in hydro. Will probably get a bigger vessel and proper hydro nutrients and see where it goes. Never done hydro before so I’m really pleased. Her mama is doing better now she’s had the chop too 😍 x
