My pink princess doesn’t have any roots. I thought this was one but its a lost cause. It had two little leaves and idk how they havent died. I put it water to start over but nothing had happened (08/28). Ive been told that what I have submerged in water wont ever grow roots, I have to cut underneath where the leaves are growing and put that in water. What do you guys think?
I would put it in water just like that. Any node (joint in the stem) can grow roots. It just takes time.

I’d cut about where the dry spot starts and pop it back in water. It’s better than it starting to rot.
1 like These are my cuttings I did about 3 weeks ago.
The bottom part that is dead should be cut off then put it back in water. Pink princess can take a few weeks to root. Be patient. It looks like there is still life toward the top but get the rot off!! Godspeed! 💚💚
