beautiful plants!! it looks like you have a white knight (left; someone correct me if thats wrong), and a birkin (right)! as for both, water when the soil is AT LEAST, if nor more than halfway dry, but dont let them sit for extended periods of time with no water. direct sun with cause the leaves to burn, so give as much bright indirect light (the plant can see the sky but the sun cannot see the plant) as possible! from the pictures, the soil looks like it would be pretty dense, and there's not a ton of perlite/drainage in it. most people let the plants acclimate to their new home for two weeks or so, and then repot into a chunky, well draining mix consisting of half soil, half amendments (coco coir chips, perlite, vermiculite, pumice, orchid bark) for the white knight, i would recommend cutting that fully white leaf off. while it is pretty, it cannot photosynthesize due to a lack of chlorophyll, so it basically just sucks nutrients and energy from the main plant. variegation is what causes the lack chlorophyll in this plant, and if you see any brown spots exclusively on the white parts of the leaves, its because the variegated parts of the leaves are extra sensitive, and nothing is wrong! you can trim the brown bits off to help keep it looking healthy :) for the birkin, they are self heading plants, meaning they dont climb up anything, so you can remove the stake in the soil, as there is no need for it. hope this helps, good luck!

White Knight goes by a few other names such as White Princess / Fancy Philodendron

i think white princess is actually a slightly different variety - they are smaller, have a little bit of pink in the stems, and are also self heading :)

I’m pretty sure it’s a white wizard, based on the stems

any soil reccs to use after 2 weeks? Would 50/50 (what they're in now/drainage type soil) work? The plant tag that the previous owner kept says "white wizard" and it has those "nubs" on the stem like the princess/wizard have

by drainage type soil do you mean a well draining soil or a thing you add to the soil?

I have a birkin that I have accidentally overwatered but he forgave me. Now I am sure to check the soil with a wooden skewer and water from the bottom only when the soil is completely dry. I’ve also learned the more indirect sun, the more variegation on the leaves. I kept my poles just to help prop up the heavy stems even tho they don’t climb.

Oh! One more thing…in the other extreme, if it goes too long without water the leaves can start to turn yellow. He for gave me that, too.
