I noticed this on my plant the other day by the petiole. It looks like new leaf growth but it isn’t growing in correctly? Could it be low humidity?

    Probably- looks like the sheath is not letting go. I persinally dont mist or recommend it on the regular, but when new leaves are un sheathing and look a bit stuck, i will mist the sheath to add a little humidity and sofen it. That usually does the trick and prevents damage to the new leaf

    low humidity thing, definitely a leaf but it's struggling to get out. happens to philodendrons, too. mist regularly and give it the occasional gentle squeeze to see if you can help the sheath open

    Don’t mist her regularly to avoid fungal issues. I will usually give the whole plant a good shower at watering time and it works every time.
