This is my favorite philodendron so far. I'm a recovering plant killer 🤣, and my sister got into plants a couple of years ago. I have tried, both as a teenager and an adult, to keep plants, but I either overwatered or underwatered them. After my ADHD diagnosis, I decided I didn't want any more chores. But the Planta app helps immensely, so I started my "recovery" as a plant parent. I love plants with the lemon lime variegation, so I picked up this little lady at the Blue store last week. She's growing quickly! I see so many more nodes and offshoots on her than when I purchased her. And her colors are so vibrant.

    The Brasil variety are easier to care for from my experience. Also, try the Syngonium Aurea/Aureum for the lovely variegated lemon lime colors. It’s not the cheapest arrowhead variety. It’s easy to propagate. So, you only need to buy one.

      Oooooooh, that one is pretty! I have two plants, but not that color.

    I, too, am a recovering plant killer and I still relapse from time to time! Without Planta to keep me on a daily track, I may have more relapses. I use it as a guide but don’t auto-water without doing the chopstick test!

      Oh, yes, the app simply is a reminder for me to check. I snoozed a few plants today who don't yet need water, although Planta sent me notifications to water. 👍🏽👍🏽
