Any thoughts on this development? It had put out 5 huge florescence with each of the last huge leaves. I would cut them off to promote leaf growth. Now that they stopped coming, the leaves have gotten smaller but I have no idea what this is. It isn’t anything like how the previous leaves came out.
I’m not 100% sure on this one since I only have 1 philodendron currently. But, this is what my philo’s leaves look like when new ones sprout. It’s a ring of fire variety and has the natural pinkish colors on the leaves. Would love to see what comes out of that though!

I have many philos & it looks like a new very young leaf. Perhaps it has more light so you’re seeing a whole heck of a lot more color. All of my philos seem to have the most vibrant color at newest growth. Very healthy gorgeous 🪴 you have here! 😍 Here r 3 of mine: red ☀️, ⭕️o’🔥, & my newest, the large imperial red 👑.
You had other flowers/inflorescence before this one and they looked differently? Did they look like this? Your plant could be stress blooming in which case I would check for it being extremely root bound and cut those off the very second they appear. Growing these is extremely taxing for the plant and so it’s not gonna have any energy to grow big leaves. You did good by cutting off the priors/ others. My silver sword currently has one I think but I’m actually kind of curious to see what it’s gonna look like before I prop and chop cause it’s about a quarter of an inch from hitting the ceiling anyway 😂
Yes, mine were huge as well. They come more out of the leaf stem. I think my oddity is just a new, smaller-than-usual leaf. It is not root bound (it’s in a 12 inch clear oot inside the decorative pot) but it is getting more light now, so it could just be different than I’m used to.
