Hi all, I just received a few Philodendron plants. A Brasil, a mcfolleys finale, a Summer glory and a white zebra gloriosum. I have been doing a ton of research and I’m having some confusion with humidity and light. I have read some that say north or east facing windows are great. Some say west. I am also considering artificial lighting for ease of location rather than finding a window. For humidity, I live in Colorado where it’s pretty dry. I currently have them on a pebble dish with water, but I’m not sure that’s enough. I do have large glass vases and thought about putting a pebble dish in them with the alocasia sitting inside of them. I’m just not sure. I am open to all and any suggestions. Humid plants are pretty new to me and I want to make sure I’m doing it correctly

my experience with most plants (not including adansonii) is that generally they can adapt to whatever humidity exists in your home, it just needs consistency and time. east or west facing windows are great for philos — a splash of sun in the morning or evening, and bright indirect throughout the day.
