the stripes on her leaves have gotten so wide they’re taking over the whole leaf… what does this mean? What should I do?

I’m not sure why plants do this, but it’s worth mentioning that the light green part cannot photosynthesis as well as the dark green part of the leaf. I wouldn’t worry too much since the plant still has other leaves with dark green, but if it keeps putting out only light green leaves, you might want to trim the stem back to remove the light green leaves.

Is the bottom part getting more light than the top? Sometimes this happens when the plant gets too much light and compensates by putting out leaves that have less ability to photosynthesize

Too much light/heat can cause the lighter colors to come out on some plants. My Queen of the Night turned bright yellow in last year’s heatwave.
