š± Iāve just noticed these little brown spots on my Pheel so Iāve got some of this fungicide coming tomorrow. Any idea what it is and will the spray be enough? Note: Heās been banished to the garden until further notice.

1 j'aimeLooks like scale! Iāve never used that spray I hope it helps!
2 J'aimeThat's scale. It's an insect, not a fungus unfortunately. The only way I was able to remove the problem was by tweezing them all off individually :( beware of having them out in the garden. They secrete a sweet gel that ants love so it isn't uncommon to see them both in a scale infested plant. They'll even go as far as to protect it so they can keep their food source lol
1 j'aimeAhhh okay Iāll look into that. I understand that Iāll have to gently remove any insects. Iāve got a solution of neem oil, Castile soap and water I can use with that job. Will diatomaceous earth help if sprinkled on the soil? Sorry for all the questions, this is my first problem plant and Iād love to help him get better. ā¤ļøāš©¹
0 J'aimeIāve gotten rid of scale outside with bonide horticultural oil spray āŗļø itās good for fungus too
1 j'aimeSo⦠I couldnāt find any bugs on Pheel at all. Heās been wiped down with neem oil, Castile soap and water. Iāll get a proper copper based fungicide and treat him next week as Iām pretty sure itās a fungus and not insect.
