I need to chop/prob my white princess and Im scared to death to loose her! Ive been putting it off for a while. I do not want to just extend the pole, as shes leggy in the middle (before i put on a pole). Shes now 4 1/2 feet tall. Ive not ever made a chop this big before!! Please help me with the best way to go about this. Where to cut? Water prop? Moss/perlite? Im so nervous about this one!
tbh i would cut right where it starts to get leggy 🙈 the top cutting you end up with can be cut into several smaller pieces and propagated. let the ends callous overnight and stick them in water. if you're not too thrilled making that big of a cut, you can chop what's grown past the moss pole and pray that the new growth comes from that leggy portion and not right below the chop
좋아요 1개 The fewer leaves left on the cut portion the better chance of success, correct? That's my fear of cutting the top, I hate to lose any of the leaves, never mind the whole thing. Something to ponder I guess 🤔
