   the yellow halos around the dark spots it looks like it might be a fungal infection. try and smell the soil, it’ll smell very funky if it’s root rot. i’d repot, trim of any dark smelly roots, dip the roots in a hydrogen peroxide/water diluted mix for about 2-3 mins, dip it in regular water to stop the reaction and then use a well draining soil mix instead of one that retains moisture, look for an aroid soil mix. a self watering pot is okay to use but the soil you have in there looks a little too compact so it’ll lead to fungal issues again if the soil doesn’t have enough air flow

   To me that potting mix looks very dry. Maybe some water?
