Hello. I’m new to this group and to plant parenthood and hope someone can advise me on the state of my Philodendron (Phil Hartman). He stays outside most of the year (I’m in zone 8b) and humidity runs around 90% right now. Planta tells me to water once a month but that just seems too little (so I sometimes overrule). Can any of you fine people tell me what causes this and what I can do to make him better? Many thanks!

Water when the top inch of soil is dry. And just know strict scheduled watering times are not the best. The app doesn’t know how fast your plant soaks up water, it could work for someone else. just check once a week but you can skip 2 days if it’s still moist

I usually wait to water until fully dry, and it keeps my philodendrons very happy
