Help! This triostar keeps getting crispy ends, she’s still growing. I water her when she’s 2/3 of the way dry, with reverse osmosis water. She is one a window sill that gets bright indirect morning light. It is pretty low humidity though. Thanks guys!

I would definitely say it’s a humidity thing! These guys are drama queens and the rest looks healthy. You could try cutting the dry tips to blend it with the rest of the plant better!

If it's any kind of ginger plant, they cannot have enough humidity. Mine would have lived in the humidifier if I had grow lights in there. I eventually threw it out because I couldn't stand looking at it so crispy. It was watered fine, had thick healthy roots, was always pushing out new leaves but never was happy or not crispy

Thanks! Any tips on how to raise humidity? If I can prevent it I would like to not get a humidifier due to the fact in highly allergic to mold!

Not sure how well it works but I’ve heard putting the pot on a tray with pebbles and water on it can help and if you mist is with water regularly (2-3x daily)
