Fungal rust is harsh and spreads fast. It’s dusty and wipes off. This doesn’t look like rust in the picture. But, check the back of the leaves. This looks like edema.
1 mi piaceSo is edema something to be worried about, it's it treatable or just past of the plant now. I noticed this on my ring of fire 🫣
1 mi piaceWhat can I do to treat it?
0 Mi piaceEdema happens from overwatering.
2 Mi piaceOhhh okay :) thanks
0 Mi piaceDo you think it’s edema?
0 Mi piaceI’m really not sure. But I’m sure you would have some idea if you are overwatering.
1 mi piaceI bought the plant like 2 days ago 😭 so I don’t know but about her yet
1 mi piaceEdema can come from overwatering or from the roots sending too much water to the plant. The cells swell from fluid build up and burst leaving the pock marks. The fix is to regulate watering. Verify the soil is dry before watering again. Don’t water to a strict schedule without verifying the soil is dry. Check the internet for more details on edema/oedema.
