Hey yall! I saved this beautiful gal from Walmart and cleaned and repotted her. I named her Princess Polly and she’s already perked right up after repotting and fertilizing. Will this leaf ever go green? And any other suggestions to get her to full health?

Interested on the leaf question, I recently got this exact same plant from Walmart with a leaf like this. I assumed it was a new leaf so hopefully that’s the case.

The plant was in really bad condition and desperately needed repotted so I think it might’ve been linked to that but I hope you’re right!!

I hope so too! I’m new to philodendrons especially this beauty so fingers crossed for us both. 🤞🏻

This is what she looked like before but it does feel like a new leaf so it’s possible🤞🏻

She is rough, but who cares, she’s going to be a real beauty and, as far as I’m concerned, philodendrons are easy-peezy. Save a cutting for me.😉

My new leaves always look a brown/reddish color when they first appear and then get brighter as they get older
