This is a “pup” that I got from the parent plant about a month ago, but it hasn’t been growing and has been drooping, and while there appears to be new growth it seems like the plant is at a hault. I don’t know if it’s because the plant is sleeping or—-according to the moisture meter, the pot is wet. Is the plant “sleeping” or does it have too much water or both.

It looks overwatered and like it's developed root rot, see how stable it is in the pot to see if salvageable 🤞

Not sure what you mean by "sleeping" but this much damage isn't typically caused by transplant shock that I've seen

Definitely repot and keep the soil more dry. While transplanting, clip and dark, wet looking rootd and soak with 1/1 water/ hydrogen peroxide for about 20 minutes. Definitely keep the soil more dry and keep fingers crossed that it perks up in a few days. Also try adding some perlite/ vermiculite to keep the soil light weightwise to allow the baby roots to breathe

Alot of people start pups in perlite and sphagnum moss for that purpose until the roots get strong

The pot looks too wide and deep for such a small plant. Try propagating it in water or transferring to a 3/4 inch pot.

Thank you! It was one of the few pots I had so I used what I had.
