I’ve only had this beauty for about a month and now I found some sticky spots on it, which from what I’ve read, is usually indication of a pest. It’s the worst on this orange/pink leaf (stem?) but I also found one other spot on one of the leaf stems. Help! I don’t see any actual pests, and I don’t know how to treat it!
It might be EFN - extrafloral nectarines. It can be a sign that there are pests present yes, because the plants secrete it to attract things like ants to help eat the pests. But it’s not always the case, some plants do it anyway, so if you don’t see any pests or pest damage I wouldn’t worry.

It’s on a sheath that’s dying off. The sheaths protect the new leaves. The wet area could just be the sheath dying off and producing excretions.
