Recently got this Philodendron Gloriousum from a plant friend on facebook and although she’s GORGEOUS i’m not a huge fan of the pot she is in/the way she sits in it. It’s very bare on one side, full on the other. (It appears to maybe be 2 plants, side by side, but unsure). Would it be okay to repot her in a less wide pot and put the stems vertical? With supports? I’ve never had a philodendron before, and i’ve just come to find out this is a “special one” so I don’t wanna hurt it. Tips, tricks, repotting advice needed and welcomed! 🪴

She’s gorg! This plant in particular is a crawler so while it probably could be trained to climb vertically up a moss pole, this is its natural growth pattern. If you are looking for something with a similar look that grows vertically, check out the philo glorious. If you want the leaves more full on the other side then just give it light on that side! It probably only got light from one direction.

Philodendron as a whole are quite drought tolerant and want the soil almost dry between watering! Always underwater instead of overwater!
