Hi again. This is in reference to an earlier post. I opened the health a little bit and there is, in fact, rot but there is also new growth so my question is do I cut the rotten parts off or let them resolve themselves? Thanks for any advice.

I would remove as much rot as I could without disturbing the new growth, then monitor very closely. If I see any rot progression I would cut it off.

0 likesIt looks like a surgery! Fun!
0 likesIt wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be-looks pretty healthy under there. BUT I found a tiny web on it and what I believe were mites, though there weren’t many and I could see, they were so tiny. I sprayed it with cold water and Neem oil as suggested by Dr. Planta. Anyone care to weigh in on that one? I’m all ears!
