Why do you have to chop? Is it because the leaves are showing signs of being damaged?
3 Mi piaceIf the leaves donāt have any green they arenāt helping the plant. Since thereās been three fully pink leaves in a row it likely will keep producing those which would eventually cause the plant to die because itās not getting enough energy. To try to get it to produce green managing you chop it back and hope it has green again when it pushes out new ones from there.
5 Mi piaceOh, got it. I didnāt know that. Iām an inexperienced variegated owner, as you can see. Thank you for sharing the information. I wish you many greens after chopping!
3 Mi piaceI leave mine alone š¤·š½āāļø the leaves can harden and turn green if they need
0 Mi piaceI would leave them alone generally except this baby is a freshly acclimated tissue culture and rare so I donāt want to compromise her chances of thriving. š„°
